Good Morning! I thought a good way to start off today would be with an Energy Boost! Most parents at the end of the day are usually so tired that after all is done they flop right into bed! Well here’s an energy booster for you today. Even though you definitely may not feel like it get up and do at least five minutes of exercise as you may know by now that any type of exercise gives you more of an energy boost! Also try eating some blueberries today! Blueberries are great! Rich in antioxidant, vitamins, and minerals! They give you a very healthy portion of carbohydrate to keep your energy levels up!

Hand Sanitizers
Hand Sanitizers seem to come in handy for those times when soap and water is not available and you truly need it! However there is a dispute on using Hand Sanitizers. Some doctors say that you should not use too much as it can start to thin out the protection of your skin, while others say it can harm the brain cells for small children. Whatever the case may be there is a dispute over it. So what's your take on it?

555 Pound 14 Year Old Boy
Today I had a whole different line up in store. That is until I ran across this. A story of a South Carolina 14 year old boy who weighs 555 pounds! His mother Jerri Gray, is currently in prison and is facing charges of felony child neglect. Awhile back Gray told CBS News that she works late shifts, which leaves her little time to prepare healthy meals for her son. I have my own thoughts on this topic, but I would like to hear your feed back. So what's your take on this? To read the full story Click Here!

Too many shots!
As you all can see I saved this topic for last as it’s very controversial. Most doctors say that children should have all of their shots before starting school. Giving children their shots is a way to protect them from different diseases and so forth. However many people disagree with doctors giving so many shots to infants and kids period! Some people are trying to prove that giving children their shots at such an early age contributes to Autism. Some parents withhold their kids from having their shots and some doctors seem to disapprove greatly. So as usual I want to know your take on this as I will be very active in this conversation as well. Please remember to be respectful to others while stating your opinion.
As for me and my opinion I am one of those parents who thinks that there shouldn't be so many shots given to infants. I can remember taking my daughter to the doctor and I was so concerned that I eventually had the doctor to spread them out. Making sure not give my daughter too many shots at once. Although my daughter is caught up on her shots now, I still think that it’s just too much for babies and toddlers.

Healthy Snackin'
Whether you are a working, stay at home mom, or whatever may be the case eating healthy can be a bit of a challenge! We tend to just do things the easy way by getting something from the fast food restaurants, vending machines etc., but it doesn’t have to be that way. Or if your like me and you have a sweet tooth, your choice is most likely going to go in the wrong direction. However I have found ways to conquer my sweet tooth by either snacking on healthy cereal, strawberries, or different types of fruit. What are some of the ways you conquer your sweet tooth, or salty crave?

Taking Your Baby To Gymboree or Gym Classes?
Of course we all want to get that work out in, but what about your baby? I feel it's never too young to take your baby to workout with you. So what about the Gym or even Gymboree classes why not? Personally I feel that taking your baby to a regular gym environment may be a bit too much, and most of the time they are not allowed, Thank God! Knowing how there are so many accidents within the home with gym equipment, like the treadmill and so forth. Now taking a Gymboree Class I feel is a great way to connect with your baby and other moms while you and your little one get a great work out! For those who may not know, a Gymboree Class is a way for mommy and baby to exercise together in a relaxed and fun environment! In so many cases its been a great way to help babies and moms develop, but as always everyone else does not think the same. So my question to you is do you think it's healthy for moms to do so? Or do you think its a no no? How about the regular gym? Do you think that they should have a section for children to be apart of the workout environment?
