Taking Your Baby To Gymboree or Gym Classes?

Of course we all want to get that work out in, but what about your baby? I feel it's never too young to take your baby to workout with you. So what about the Gym or even Gymboree classes why not? Personally I feel that taking your baby to a regular gym environment may be a bit too much, and most of the time they are not allowed, Thank God! Knowing how there are so many accidents within the home with gym equipment, like the treadmill and so forth. Now taking a Gymboree Class I feel is a great way to connect with your baby and other moms while you and your little one get a great work out! For those who may not know, a Gymboree Class is a way for mommy and baby to exercise together in a relaxed and fun environment! In so many cases its been a great way to help babies and moms develop, but as always everyone else does not think the same. So my question to you is do you think it's healthy for moms to do so? Or do you think its a no no? How about the regular gym? Do you think that they should have a section for children to be apart of the workout environment?

  1. Gymboree classes are fun. Some people don't like it cause how scattered the children can be sometimes, but the classes I took my daughter to were fun and everybody there got along it was a good experience.

  2. If the gym starts to offer classes for the kids I see no problem with that. Never heard of gymboree classes but sounds like it would be a good thing to do.

  3. I've went to a couple of gymboree classes to. We loved it! I have to agree with you Tecolia on the regular gym. I just don't think that would be a good idea. Even if they do open a place for kids like some gyms already have. I say this because everyone is not kind to the fact of children being around. Just something that I've noticed.

  4. I think Gymboree Classes are very healthy! my sister does it all the time and is trying to get me to join in. I most likely will in the months to come.

  5. I wasn't a big fan of the gymboree classes I went to. :( Just wasn't my thing. I didnt like how the kids were like all in the middle of the floor together. It was just too much confusion for me. Maybe I'll try it again. Could have just been that school I went to.
